Selling exclusive content on Sheer comes with some unique benefits and advantages in comparison to non-exclusive content.

How does Exclusive work?

• Earn 3 years worth of sales within 15 days
• Gain your return on investment much faster
• You continue to earn royalties long term

If you choose the Exclusive license type, after a 15 day evaluation period on the Network, we’re able to determine a longer term value for your content equal to 3 years worth of sales! It will be paid to you upfront after the evaluation period, as well as royalties indefinitely after that. You agree to transfer full and Exclusive ownership of the content to us.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

EXCLUSIVE means content that has never been released anywhere. It does not mean that the content is being provided Exclusively to Sheer, but was previously on other sites, or exists on a paysite. That is something entirely different. Giving “Exclusivity” to a site is not the same as purchasing Exclusive rights to content that has never been released, which is the primary reason for using this license type.

Target price explained

It is the price you are willing to accept for the full Exclusive rights to your video.

• Our system will calculate a long term, projected 3-year monetary value. This is completed within 15 days of the video being live on our Network.
• You agree to transfer full and Exclusive ownership of the content to us if your target price is met, meaning you will not be allowed to use it with any other website or service, except authorized partner sites.
• The money earned from an Exclusive video sale is credited to your account 15 days after the release date of the video if the Target price is met.

If the target price is not met, the video license will switch to Non-Exclusive, your account will be credited 50% of the current sales accrued, and you can continue to sell the video on the platform, in a Non-Exclusive status.

How does Non-Exclusive work?

• Earn indefinitely at a revshare rate of 50/50 Network – 80/20 Sheer
• You retain the Exclusive rights
• Your return rate is spread out over a longer period of time.

For Non-Exclusive content you earn 50% of sales accrued on the Network sites and 80% for any sales generated directly from your Sheer profile. You retain the Exclusive rights to the content and are free to additionally monetize it on other platforms.

In your dashboard top right corner click the COPY icon next to referrals to copy your personal referral link. You can use this link when recommending or referring Sheer to other content creators. If they register with your link, you will get paid a percentage of their earnings.

Typically, yes, but it’s a good idea to connect with support about the Network sites you already have content on to avoid having duplicate content, and in case they can be imported to your Sheer account saving you time and enabling you to build up your Sheer offer, faster.

Once a preview converts to a paid view, you will see the revenue added to your content
as well as in the expandable views/revenue chart located in the earned column just to the
right of your content on the Dashboard.
